Hi Tim.

I am copying Gordon Couger on this reply, as Gordon should comment on
your ? about guaranteed response. It is part of our Software structure.
Gorodn can also comment on what we can provide in the way of a replay of
data selected for the stored TXT files.

I have a couple of queries about the UDP Server program...</bigger>
<bigger>Is it possible to have guaranteed reporting? (I suppose that
would need some sort of response from the PC to the mobile). This would
be useful when the mobile is sending important data (or when you have an
MDT attached).</bigger> <bigger>How do you set the UDP Server program
to use the serial port (ie input from RMI-1000)? Sorry if this is a dumb
question - I still haven't fully got to grips with all this new
information :)</bigger> <bigger>One last thing. Is the GPS data stored
in a database (and can this be replayed)?. I tried ticking the "Backup"
box in UDPServ, but it came up with the error 'Data source name not
found and no default driver specified'.</bigger> <bigger>We're trying
to sort out a temporary fix for the Novatel antenna problem.

I spoke with Novatel this morning. They did not include the antenna tails
with the Modems. They are now shiiping them to our office. We will
include them with the RMI-300 in a couple of days. The antenna connector
is made by AMP. I don't have a part # yet.

You're welcome :)

Also attached is a copy of the FSM demo. It is a self extracting file.
Once you have installed it, create shortcuts to the five *.exe files
(DISPATCH/ADMIN/CALLTAKE/SCAWD/SETUP) then edit the properties of the
shortcuts to append /Access to the command line. << *****/dispatch.exe
/Access > as an example.
